Barbed Trap and Scalding Rune in particular should be refreshed with about 2 seconds left to minimize down time (since they take 1.5-2 seconds to arm), while Flames of Oblivion should be allowed to run out before it is refreshed since it fires out damage when the timer hits 0. What this means is that right before a DoT is about to end, you refresh that DoT, and you do this as needed. Once you go through the initial rotation, you’re going to dynamically maintain your DoTs. The general rotation will be to apply your back bar DoTs while weaving a light attack (LA) between each one, swap to your front bar, apply DoTs, and go into light attack whip weaving.īarbed Trap> Swap > LA > Scalding Rune > LA > Degeneration > LA > Eruption > LA > Elemental Blockade > Bar Swap > LA > Flames of Oblivion > LA > Engulfing Flames > LA > Burning Embers > (LA > Molten Whip ) Spell Power Potions (Spell Crit, Spell Damage, Magicka Restoration)Ĭornflower, Ladys Smock, Water Hyacinth PassivesĬlass (all), Light Armor (all), Medium Armor (all), Destruction Staff (all), dual wield (all), Undaunted (all), Racial (all), Mages Guild (all), Fighter’s Guild (all), Alchemy (Medicinal Use) Resource Management & Rotationįor this build, we use a dynamic rotation.
